Location and Surroundings

The Golf Club Linz – Luftenberg lies in the attractive hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel north-east of Linz and can be reached from the centre of Linz in 10 minutes. Founded in 1992, the facility is grouped around a listed castle from the second half of the 16th century, whose historical significance lies in its function as a manor farm (Meierhof). From the course you have a view of the surrounding hills of the Mühlviertel.

The Course

The 18-hole course has a par of 71 and measures between 5,070 and 6,038 metres.

Designer Keith Preston shaped the golf facility into a varied and challenging 18-hole course with doglegs, water hazards and undulating greens; since autumn 2020 it has been undergoing a redesign under the direction of golf course designer DI Diethard Fahrenleitner.

Amenities and Dining

Practice facilities include a driving range, a putting green and a chipping green. In the "Luftenberger Hof" clubhouse, guests can expect a restaurant whose quiet courtyard terrace is a popular meeting point for golfers and non-golfers alike.

Guests and Green Fees

The green fee is 100 € on weekdays and 110 € on weekends.
