About the Golf Club
Golfclub Am Mondsee is located in Sankt Lorenz. The facility has 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 1986.
Location and surroundings
Golfclub Am Mondsee is beautifully located in Sankt Lorenz on the Mondsee and Drachensee, on the shore of the Mondsee in the Salzburger Land. Only four kilometres from the Mondsee motorway exit, the facility is quickly accessible from the city of Salzburg. During your round, the view wanders across the mountains of the Salzkammergut or towards the nearby, imposing Drachenwand. The flat terrain opens up a mountain panorama all around, and a small bathing beach lies right on the Mondsee.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated at par 72. The design is credited to Max Graf Lamberg.
The sportingly ambitious course on flat terrain directly on the Drachensee and Mondsee is particularly demanding but fair: the closing holes lie around the Drachensee, and five different tee boxes make the round enjoyable for golfers of all levels. The facility, opened on 13 May 1989, was laid out by course architect Max Graf Lamberg and his partner Alois Reisenzahn.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range and a pro shop. The Restaurant Mondsee Moments is located in the clubhouse directly on the Drachensee, from whose terrace the view extends over the lake, large parts of the golf facility, the Schafberg and the mountain massif of the Drachenwand.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 110 € on weekdays and 110 € on weekends. Guests can also play here without a course certificate.
