Golfclub Issum-Niederrhein e.V.

Golfclub Issum-Niederrhein e.V. is located in Issum in the Ruhr area & Westphalia region (North Rhine-Westphalia). The facility has 18 holes in parkland style. Golf has been played here since 1973.

Location and Surroundings

Golfclub Issum-Niederrhein lies in an outlying location not far from the old beer village of Issum, on the left bank of the Lower Rhine and on the Issumer Fleuth. Only a single road, usually used by residents, day-trippers and cyclists, crosses the golf course at four holes – otherwise nature shapes the picture. The varied holes are set in idyllic countryside and offer playing enjoyment and relaxation alike. The facility is located at Pauenweg 70 in 47661 Issum.

The Course

The 18-hole course is rated at par 71. The design is by Reiner Preißmann.

The athletically demanding parkland course opened in 1973 and is based on a design by Reiner Preißmann; its character is flat with water hazards. On several holes, trees provide particular challenges; play takes place all year round, with few exceptions, on summer greens.

Facilities and Dining

For practice there is a driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunkers. In summer, the restaurant opens Tuesday to Thursday from 12 to 21 and Friday to Sunday from 11 to 22, with the kitchen serving from 13 to 20 (closed on Mondays).

Guests and Green Fees

The green fee is €65 on weekdays and €75 on weekends.
