About the Golf Club
Golfclub Kitzeberg e.V. is located in Heikendorf in the Hamburg & North Sea region (Schleswig-Holstein). The facility has 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 1902.
Location and Surroundings
The golf course lies on the eastern side of the Kiel Fjord, only about 10 km north of the city centre and the harbour with its ferries and cruise ships. Restful rounds of golf are possible here not far from the beaches of the Kiel Fjord. The facility is characterised by its magnificent old trees, a parkland landscape.
The Course
The 18-hole course is rated at par 71.
The original 9-hole facility was extended in 2000 into an 18-hole championship course and today combines 9 new and 9 historic holes. The very varied holes blend harmoniously into the partly hilly terrain.
Facilities and Dining
For practice there is a driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunkers. In the "Wildgarten" clubhouse a restaurant with excellent cuisine in an elegant setting awaits, and the sheltered south-facing terrace offers space to relax after your round.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is €70 on weekdays and €80 on weekends. A handicap limit of 54 applies to guests.
