About the Golf Club
Play for Life e.V. is located in Krogaspe in the Hamburg & North Sea region (Schleswig-Holstein). The facility features 27 holes. Golf has been played here since 2010.
Location and surroundings
The facility is located in Krogaspe in Schleswig-Holstein, 75 km north of Hamburg and 98 km south of the Danish border, not far from the A7 motorway exit number 13 (Neumünster-Nord). Play takes place on an 18-hole championship course and a public 9-hole course; the club has been based on the 27-hole facility since 2010. A beautiful landscape, such as northern Germany produces, stretches all around the course.
The course
The 27-hole course has a par of 73.
The course has an air of ease about it but is not to be underestimated: clear, wide fairways make for a fair playing experience, while strategically placed bunkers, water hazards, trees, ponds, a stream and a cow pasture punish inaccurately placed balls. The hardest part is the demanding, mostly raised greens, plus an often unpredictable wind.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range and a practice bunker. The course is framed by a large clubhouse with a very beautiful terrace.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 40 € on weekdays and 50 € on weekends.
