Golfclub Mannheim-Viernheim 1930 e.V. lies directly on the border between Mannheim and Viernheim, in the middle of nature — only ten minutes from Mannheim city centre. The facility is set in a sensitive landscape between town and nature, characterised by idyllic biotopes and woodland edges. The ponds provide a habitat for water birds, and deer and hares are on the move across the grounds.

The course

The course was designed by Bernhard von Limburger.

The well-kept 18-hole golf facility was created on the grounds of Rhein-Neckar AG in Viernheim: the original 9-hole facility was designed by golf course architect Dr. Bernhard von Limburger, and in 2000 it was extended into an 18-hole course that is now considered athletic and demanding, scenic and architecturally well thought out. From the sun-drenched clubhouse terrace, the historic parkland course reveals itself with a view of the 18th green.

Facilities and dining

Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green and a pro shop. In the clubhouse, "1930 Das Restaurant" serves Mediterranean cuisine, and from the sun-drenched terrace the view opens up to the 18th green.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is €70 on weekdays and €110 on weekends. Guests are subject to a handicap limit of 54 on weekdays, 36 on weekends/public holidays.
