Location and surroundings

Golf Club St. Leon-Rot lies in the middle of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, centrally located in the triangle of Heidelberg–Mannheim–Karlsruhe. The facility is laid out as a nature-oriented area with two 18-hole championship courses: large biotope and compensation areas, many wetlands and reed beds, sun-exposed sand turf and a renaturalised section of the Kraichbach offer numerous animal and plant species undisturbed habitat in an otherwise heavily used agricultural and settlement landscape.

The course

The 36-hole course is rated par 72. Dave Thomas is responsible for the design.

The 6,541-metre St. Leon course was designed by the English architect Dave Thomas in the style of a links course, with sandy soil, water features, artfully modelled bunker landscapes and an island fairway. The 6,587-metre Rot course is a parkland course that architect Hannes Schreiner integrated into the existing river meadow landscape, with large parts of the original landscape preserved as biotopes.

Facilities and dining

Practice facilities include a driving range, a putting green, a chipping green, a practice bunker, an indoor simulator and a pro shop. In the clubhouse, the ACE Restaurant invites you to round off your round of golf on the sunny terrace with views of the golf facility – complemented by a halfway house.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is €115 on weekdays and €145 on weekends. Guests are subject to a handicap limit of -36.
