About the Golf Club
Golfclub Sedrun is located in Tujetsch. The facility has 9 holes.
Location and Surroundings
The golf course lies in Sedrun in the Surselva, at an altitude of 1500 metres above sea level at the source of the Rhine – the source of the Vorderrhein is only a few kilometres away. The course is embedded in the course of the Rhine, which rises shortly before, and the view opens onto the imposing backdrop of three-thousand-metre peaks; at hole 7 the view opens up over the course and the valley. You arrive via the A13 motorway towards Chur and continue via Disentis towards Oberalppass/Sedrun, or conveniently by train via Chur or Andermatt to Sedrun.
The Course
Peter Harradine is responsible for the design.
The nine-hole course designed by architect Peter Harradine, with lovingly maintained greens, has two tees for ladies and men on every hole, so the second nine are not a mere repetition of the first nine. Ditches, a stream, a small lake and the Rhine shape the holes, and at the ninth hole – the signature hole – the drive crosses the still young Rhine.
Amenities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range. The Golfrestaurant Casa da Golf is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with hot food served until 5:00 pm.
