About the Golf Club
Golfclub Tuniberg is located in Freiburg im Breisgau in the Stuttgart & Baden-Württemberg region (Baden-Württemberg). The facility has 18 holes.
Location and surroundings
Golfclub Tuniberg lies in Freiburg-Munzingen, just outside the city of Freiburg. The flat, expansive facility nestles into the backdrop of the Tuniberg with its landmark, the St. Erentrudis Chapel; along the entire round there are views of the Black Forest and the Vosges, and across the golfing turf the view extends into the Markgräflerland. Of the total 90 hectares, only 29 are in play; the majority of the land is an almost untouched habitat for special flora and fauna — a pair of storks has its nest by the Riedgraben stream at hole 1.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated par 72.
The championship course is flat and expansive; from its tee box positions it offers sporting challenges for all skill levels, while a good golf shot is never punished. In the summer months, the rough, which stands almost waist-high, demands precision and clever course management.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, a putting green and a chipping green. The club includes the restaurant Brüders with a generous sun terrace and views of the Markgräflerland and the Black Forest.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €80 on weekdays and €95 on weekends.
