Location and surroundings
Golf Club Wümme is at home on the Emmen farmstead, surrounded by old oaks, between the villages of Borchel and Westerholz, near the district town of Rotenburg (Wümme) and in a typical area of the North German Plain. The facility lies on the northern edge of the Lüneburg Heath, set in an attractively quiet landscape with small heathland areas, romantic stretches of woodland, fine hedgerows and secluded ponds. In the middle of the grounds stands the homestead of the old Emmen farm, and from the facility there are beautiful, far-reaching views over the landscape and colourful wildflower meadows. There are no motorway or train noises here.
Facilities and dining
For practice, a driving range, a chipping green and a practice bunker are available. The restaurant Birdie-Time is open to members and guests and, with its wonderful terrace, invites you to enjoy wide views of the countryside and the greens of holes 18 and 27.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €60 on weekdays and €75 on weekends. A handicap limit of -54 applies to guests (weekends: -36).
