Location and surroundings
The Land-Golf-Club Schloss Moyland is located in the municipality of Bedburg-Hau, Moyländer Allee 1. In 1988, construction began on the 9-hole facility on Moyländer Allee, for which 32 hectares of woodland and agricultural land were converted into a golf facility; at the same time, the landscape conservation authorities obliged the operator to carry out additional afforestation at a ratio of 1:3. You play a relaxed round in the middle of nature: the holes are surrounded by woodland on both sides, and water hazards and ponds shape the terrain.
The course
Rainer Preissmann is responsible for the design.
The course was designed by landscape architect Rainer Preissmann of Deutsche Golf Consult and extended to 18 holes in 2000. The holes lead through woodland, with doglegs, generously laid-out water hazards, fairway bunkers and strongly undulating greens.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range and a putting green. Bayram & Team run the Landrestaurant Moyland, whose clubhouse terrace offers a splendid view of the first hole.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €30 on weekdays and €40 on weekends. Guests are subject to a handicap limit of 54.
