About the Golf Club
Monte Kaolino is located in Hirschau in the Munich & Upper Bavaria region (Bavaria). The facility has 18 holes.
Location and Surroundings
Monte Kaolino lies about two kilometres south-east of the town of Hirschau in the Upper Palatinate (Bavaria), which itself lies between Amberg and Weiden. The white sand mountain rises around 120 m above its surroundings and consists of roughly 35 million tonnes of quartz sand from the neighbouring kaolin pits — waste quartz sand from kaolin processing at the Amberger Kaolinwerke, stored there over decades. At the foot of the mountain, an extensive leisure park has established itself, including a dune pool, a campsite, a lift and dining facilities. Visitors ride or climb up the mountain every year and enjoy the unique view.
Facilities and Dining
The Tripple B restaurant, open since 1 May 2024, offers a cosy atmosphere and a large sunny terrace, serving tasty burgers, salads and rice bowls as well as popular classics.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is €8 on weekdays and €8 at weekends.
