Golfclub Pottenstein-Weidenloh lies in the middle of Franconian Switzerland, right at the gates of Nuremberg, Bayreuth, Erlangen, Forchheim and Pegnitz, and can be reached from there in a few minutes by car. Just a few minutes by car from the town of Pottenstein, the panorama of the Franconian Switzerland Nature Park opens up. Grown coniferous and deciduous woodland surrounds the generously laid-out fairways; unspoilt nature accompanies you along the mostly wooded holes, where massive, bizarre rock formations and dense hedgerows reinforce the feeling of being close to nature. Despite the busy surroundings, the facility forms a quiet, green oasis on more than 95 ha of its own land.
Facilities and Dining
For practice, there is a driving range and a practice bunker. The stylish "Barbarossa" clubhouse lies centrally between the 9th and 18th holes, houses a restaurant as a culinary meeting point, and the restaurant's sun terrace invites you to linger.
