Location and surroundings
The golf facility lies in the upper Pegnitz valley on the edge of Franconian Switzerland, between Velden and Immendorf in the Nürnberger Land, about half an hour from Nuremberg. The 18 holes lie within a protected landscape area; the terrain is slightly hilly and shaped by woodland edges and water. From the highest points of the course, the view extends far across the Pegnitz valley.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated at par 72.
Laid out from the mid-1990s in two construction phases and matured with the landscape ever since, the course stretches across 125 ha in the middle of a protected landscape area, maintained with computer-controlled irrigation. The fairways follow the terrain with hollows and crests, woodland edges and water, hole by hole through the Pegnitz valley — six par 3s, six par 4s and six par 5s form a rare symmetry.
Facilities and dining
For practice, a driving range and a putting green are available. The restaurant “Zum Schäferkarr'n” serves Franconian cuisine with a beer garden, lounge and sun terrace directly at the course, with views of the holes.

The green fee is €75 on weekdays and €85 at weekends.
