About the Golf Club
Nassfeld Golf is located in Waidegg. The facility has 24 holes in parkland style. Golf has been played here since 2009.
Location and surroundings
The golf resort lies in the beautiful Gailtal in Carinthia, at the address Waidegg 66, 9631 Jenig, in the heart of Carinthia's nature arena — nestled between the Nassfeld ski region and the Weissensee nature arena. Set in a mountain landscape with views of the Gailtal and Carnic Alps, a Mediterranean climate and plenty of peace and quiet make for carefree golf. The round passes extensive pond landscapes that are home to internationally protected plants and animals.
The course
The 24-hole course has a par of 72 and measures 6,379 metres. The design is by the Gary Player Company.
The 24-hole facility with its 18-hole championship course (opened in 2009) is laid out as parkland/moorland on flat terrain with water hazards and rated as sporting; the design is noted as "adv. by Gary Player Company". A 6-hole panoramic course and an extensive practice area complement the course.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunkers and a pro shop. At MANU´S Golflokal, the restaurant terrace with views of the Carnic Alps and the Gartnerkofel serves local dishes from Carinthian cuisine, daily from 09:00 to 20:00.
