Location and surroundings

Golfclub Lungau/Katschberg is located at Feldnergasse 165 in St. Michael im Lungau, in the flat valley of the Mur river and framed by the mountain landscape of the Salzburg Lungau region, at 1,050 m above sea level. The Mur fits harmoniously into the overall picture of the course and challenges more than one player. Level fairways with natural hazards, including many ponds, shape the terrain.

The course

The 27-hole course is rated par 72. The design is by Keith Preston.

The 18-hole championship facility (par 72) was designed by golf course designer Keith Preston and perfectly integrated into the existing landscape; water ditches, ponds and an island green make the course demanding. In addition, there is the charming 9-hole par-3 course Lungau9 and generous practice facilities.

Facilities and dining

Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker and pro shop. At the Adriano golf restaurant, the sun terrace offers an all-round view of the golf course, and the cuisine is shaped by Mediterranean and Istrian influences.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is 96 € on weekdays and 96 € on weekends.
