Location and surroundings

The facility is exceptionally conveniently located on the Pinzgauer Bundesstraße B 311 directly between Bischofshofen and St. Johann im Pongau — quickly reachable via the A10 motorway at the Pongau junction and the "GOLF" exit. You play against the backdrop of the mountains of the Salzburg region, with views of the Tennengebirge and a panoramic view of the Alps. The Pongau is therefore an ideal base for a golf holiday: around 15 golf facilities between Zell am See, Schladming and Salzburg are reachable within 60 minutes by car.

The course

The design is by James Coughlan.

The golf facility consists of two 9-hole courses — beginners find their ideal playing area on the ORANGE course, while club and tournament golfers play the BLUE course, which James Coughlan designed with an attractive pond landscape. The overall area is mown short, the holes are not too long and the bunker area is deliberately manageable; you play on hilly terrain with panoramic views of the Alps.

Facilities and dining

Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker and pro shop. The Open Golf BistrO in the clubhouse serves regional cuisine and has a sun terrace by the beautiful pond — the place to linger after your round.

The green fee is 39 € on weekdays and 39 € on weekends.
