Location and Surroundings
The 18-hole facility is located about 1 km outside the village of Goldegg am See, in the heart of SalzburgerLand in the Pongau region, on a high plateau above the Salzach Valley and in the middle of an idyllic landscape. Goldegg is around 2 hours by car from Munich and about 45 minutes by car from Salzburg; Salzburg Airport is around 60 kilometres away, Munich Airport 200 kilometres. By car, the perfect connection to the transport network and the picturesque Alpine panorama make the journey a pleasant sightseeing tour.
The Course
The 18-hole course has a par of 72 and measures 5,041 to 5,553 metres.
The par-72 course over 18 holes is often described as the "jewel of Salzburg's golf country". Pond, stream and lake shape several holes, water hazards guard the greens – hole 8 is the most difficult hole on the course.
Facilities and Dining
Driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker and pro shop are available for practice. The facility includes its own golf restaurant; the clubhouse area also includes a terrace.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is 80 € on weekdays and 95 € at the weekend. A handicap limit of 36 applies to guests.
