The facility is surrounded by gentle hills, quiet villages and wide open countryside; the Erlauf flows directly below the castle and offers a small natural beach there. Steinakirchen am Forst is only 5 minutes away, Melk about 30 minutes by car and Dürnstein on the banks of the Danube about 50 minutes by car.

In the in-house restaurant "Die Meierei", a historic dining room with a vaulted ceiling and a terrace overlooking the well-kept 18-hole golf course invite you to enjoy meals and refreshments; the cooking is done with regional ingredients.
