About the Golf Club
Wallenried Golf is located in Wallenried. The facility features 18 holes.
Location and surroundings
The facility is located in Wallenried (1784), Chemin du Golf 18, on an 80-hectare site belonging to the Foundation de Castella. In its founding phase, the young club attracted golfers from the Fribourg region and the Swiss Plateau. The terrain is characterised by the Zudalla hill, on and around which the course runs.
The course
Course design is credited to Ruzzo Reuss.
To plans by the golf course architect Ruzzo Reuss, an open golf course was created on and around the Zudalla hill, inaugurated on 3 December 1994 with 18 holes. The course is immaculately maintained and kept to recognised standards, shaped by a sustainable approach to nature and the environment.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green and pro shop. The Restaurant Le Disnöf sits on the club grounds (Chemin du Golf 18) and opens daily from 10 am.
