Location and Surroundings

The public golf facility lies in Troisdorf-Spich in the Cologne-Bonn area, in the immediate vicinity of the Rotter See local recreation area. Water also shapes the course: the driving range features a lake, reeds grow along the holes at hole 3 and hole 9, and there is a pond at hole 3.

The Course

The 9-hole course is rated at 43 to 3,000 metres. Francois Bouchard is responsible for the design.

The facility was designed by golf course architect Francois Bouchard, a student of Jack Nicklaus; the Players Course with par-3, par-4 and par-5 holes over a length of almost 3000 m is elaborately modelled with rolling contours and equipped with light-coloured bunkers, dense planting and water hazards. Its special feature is a replica of the island green from TPC Sawgrass, complemented by an Academy Course with 9 par 3 holes that counts among the most modern short courses in Europe.

Facilities and Dining

For practice, a driving range, putting green, practice bunkers, indoor simulator and pro shop are available. In the clubhouse, the Restaurant "El Olivar" (place of the olives) with its sun terrace and views of the pond serves Mediterranean cuisine.
