Location and surroundings
Zieglers Golfplatz is located at Matthias-Bauer-Straße 108 in Neuburg-Heinrichsheim (86633 Neuburg a. d. Donau). The public golf course serves Neuburg and the surrounding regions and makes golf accessible even on a small budget.
The course
The 9-hole course is rated at par 30.
From the project of a 6-hole short course started in 2006, the 9-hole facility certified by the DGV (German Golf Association) and eligible for handicap rounds emerged in 2008. In 2012, the region's largest covered driving range opened with 24 covered and 38 grass tee positions, plus putting, chipping and pitching greens as well as a fairway bunker and a hill for practising uneven lies.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker, indoor simulator and pro shop. Lucio's Pizzeria and Café am Golfplatz as well as Zieglers Schirmbar look after your refreshments; the latter runs a bar with happy hour from 20:00 to 21:00 on the first Friday of every month.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 50 € on weekdays and 50 € on weekends.
