Location and Surroundings
The golf facility lies in Karnitz, a district of Garz, in the middle of the island of Rügen. Coming from the north, the route leads via the B96 to the exit towards Sehlen and on towards Garz, around 5 kilometres to the course. Via the motorway connection and the Rügen bridge, the island is reachable from Berlin or Hamburg in about 2 hours; the direct ferry connection between Sassnitz and Trelleborg in Sweden gives the facility a special, international flair.
Facilities and Dining
For practice, there is a driving range, a putting green, a practice bunker and a pro shop. In the clubhouse, the restaurant Gunilla (cuisine of the senses) serves Sunday brunch with a view over the golf facility, along with changing events such as cooking together, culinary evenings and live music; an English-style lounge invites you to relax.
