About the Golf Club
Golfclub Ausseerland is located in Bad Aussee. The facility has 9 holes.
Location and Surroundings
Golfclub Ausseerland is located in Bad Aussee on the Lerchenreither high plateau in the heart of the Salzkammergut and offers a unique 360° panoramic view of the Ausseerland mountains as far as the Dachstein Glacier. Harmoniously nestled between majestic mountain massifs and the landscape of the Ausseerland, each of the 9 holes offers a breathtaking view of the Loser, the Trisselwand and the Dachstein Glacier. The Ausseerland Salzkammergut region combines striking mountain scenery with gentle valleys and crystal-clear bathing lakes – Altausseer See, Grundlsee and Ödensee invite you to enjoy swimming close to nature.
Facilities and Dining
Driving range and chipping green are available for practice. The clubhouse directly at the golf course offers traditional, down-to-earth cuisine; since December 2025 the club restaurant has been run by operator Franz Pichler under the name "Franz Wein + Genuss", complemented by the newly designed club lounge with panoramic terrace.
