About the Golf Club
Golfclub Haus Kambach is located in Eschweiler in the Rheinland region (North Rhine-Westphalia). The facility has 18 holes.
Location and surroundings
The Haus Kambach golf facility is 10 km from Aachen and 50 km from Cologne, just 2 minutes from the motorway, set in the idyllic nature of the Voreifel. Play takes place around the Rhenish moated castle of Haus Kambach, in the gentle, sprawling foothills of the High Fens where they meet the Jülicher Börde.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated par 73 and measures 5,376 to 6,036 metres. The design is by Dieter Sziedat.
The 18-hole championship course created by architect Dieter R. Sziedat defends itself against risky play with many groups of shrubs, old and new trees, strategically positioned bunkers and sometimes high rough, while the not-too-hilly holes remain playable for all skill levels. As host of the Kaiser Karl Trophy 2000, the first tournament of the PGA European Seniors Tour in Germany, the facility earned itself the title PGA Mastercourse.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range and a pro shop. The club dining welcomes guests in an old moated castle; it includes the Restaurant Haus Kambach and the bistro terrace.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €70 on weekdays and €80 on weekends.
