Location and Surroundings
The Loherhof lies on the grounds of the former St. Josef mission house, easily reached just outside the town of Geilenkirchen and not far from the centre. The spacious terrain with its old stock of 6,000 trees and 10 ha of nature forms a parkland landscape in which the 18-hole golf course lies. Because of its convenient location, the trip is also worthwhile from Aachen, Düsseldorf and Cologne.
The Course
The 18-hole course is rated at par 68.
The publicly run course extends over 50 ha around the old mission house as an 18-hole facility with a par of 68; for practice, there is a driving range with 14 covered tee boxes as well as putting, pitching and chipping greens.
Facilities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range and a chipping green. The Restaurant Loherhof, located in the middle of the greenery and the heart of the facility, offers 120 seats indoors and 60 seats on the sun terrace; head chef Niki Galic relies on high-quality regional produce.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is 55 € on weekdays and 65 € at the weekend.
