Location and surroundings
The 18-hole golf course of Oberhessischer Golfclub Marburg lies in the heart of Hesse, north of Marburg in Cölbe, on the grounds of the Maximilianenhof in Cölbe-Bernsdorf; the town of Marburg is around 12 kilometres away. The facility is set in hilly terrain rich in trees; to the south, the rivers Lahn and Ohm adjoin it, and to the north the Burgwald forest spreads out. From the highest points of the Upper Hessian hill country, the view opens up towards the Kellerwald, the Vogelsberg and Amöneburg, and sweeping views over the landscape, villages and fields accompany the round.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, chipping green, practice bunker and pro shop. The clubhouse is home to the Restaurant Maximilianenhof with a spacious, covered and heated sun terrace for up to 120 people and a wonderful view of the 9th green.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 65 € on weekdays and 85 € on weekends.
