Location and surroundings
The golf course is located at Wemkenstraße 13 in Rastede, 26180; the club, founded in 1964, is closely linked to Oldenburg. For a longer stay, the club recommends partner hotels in Rastede, Varel and Bad Zwischenahn. The grounds are particularly nature-oriented: around 450 nest boxes hang on the course grounds, maintained since 2018 in cooperation with the NABU. In addition to great tits, nuthatches and woodpeckers, kingfishers, grey herons and great egrets can also be observed there again and again.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range and a practice bunker. The public club restaurant, run by Sedat, overlooks the park-like golf course, is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 am and can also be booked for events for up to 120 people.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €60 on weekdays and €70 on weekends.
