About the Golf Club
Warendorfer Golfclub An der Ems e.V. is located in Warendorf in the Ruhr Area & Westphalia region (North Rhine-Westphalia). The facility has 9 holes.
Location and surroundings
The golf club is located in the Vohren district of Warendorf; the facility was inaugurated in summer 1987 and was the first golf course in the Warendorf district. Most of the course reflects the Münsterland parkland landscape; directly on the Ems, the surroundings are reminiscent of a river meadow landscape – ever since it opened, the location has been considered idyllic. The club is the centre of the “GOLF in Warendorf” resort, which also includes a second course, the Golfpark Heidewald, a training centre with a large driving range, the Warendorfer golf school, two grass tennis courts as well as the golf hotel and restaurant “Blaue Ente”.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green and chipping green. The golf hotel and restaurant “Blaue Ente” lies directly on the facility and has been the club's restaurant since it opened in June 1991; the terrace invites you to stop for coffee and cake.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 50 € on weekdays and 60 € on weekends.
