Golfclub Hammetweil

Golfclub Hammetweil is located in Neckartenzlingen in the Stuttgart & Baden-Württemberg region (Baden-Württemberg). The facility has 18 holes.

Location and surroundings

The golf club lies in Neckartenzlingen in the central Neckar region; from Stuttgart it is around 15 minutes by car, and Reutlingen, Tübingen as well as Stuttgart Airport and the Stuttgart trade fair are only a few minutes' drive away. Coming from Stuttgart, take the B 27 and the B 312 towards Metzingen to the Neckartenzlingen exit. From the facility there is a view of the Swabian Alb. On the grounds of around 700,000 square metres and the adjoining areas there are around 200 fruit trees; since UNESCO declared orchard meadows a World Heritage Site, Hammetweil has been part of it.

The course

The 18-hole course is rated at par 72.

The 18-hole course, opened in June 2005 (par 72, total length over 6,000 metres), is a quite demanding course with 11 water hazards, around 6,000 square metres of sand bunkers and holes partly located in the forest. The first nine holes are played around various water hazards, the remaining nine run along the edge of the forest; on hole 5 lies the club's own lake "Loch Ness".

Facilities and dining

For practice, a driving range, a putting green and a chipping green are available. In the new clubhouse, the restaurant "clubhouse H" caters for golfers and non-golfers alike with regional snacks and menus; the facility also includes a terrace.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is €79 on weekdays and €79 on weekends.
