Location and surroundings
Golfclub Wels is located at Golfplatzstraße 2 in Weißkirchen an der Traun, within the district authority of BH Wels-Land. After its foundation on 9 June 1981, the club found its course grounds at Nussdorfer Hof; before that, a leased area in Fischlham had served as the first driving range.
The course
The 18-hole course has a par of 72.
From May 1985 the first nine holes were playable, and from the 1991 season the second new nine — this became an 18-hole facility with a par of 72. Characteristic are the flower beds and flower meadows at holes 5, 6, 9, 10 and 16, which are designated as no-play zones.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range and a pro shop. The birdie-restaurant by Jürgen Schliessleder is located at Golfplatzstraße 2 in Weißkirchen, at the address of the golf club.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €100 on weekdays and €110 at the weekend.
